KU announces fall 2004 graduates

LAWRENCE -- More than 1,275 students completed degree work at the University of Kansas during the fall semester, according to the KU Office of the Provost.

Graduate and undergraduate degrees were awarded in December based on work completed during the fall semester. Because KU conducts only one formal commencement ceremony each year, many of these graduates will return for commencement exercises Sunday, May 22.

The fall 2004 graduates represent 61 of Kansas' 105 counties, 38 states and 32 countries.
