Taylor Study Abroad Scholarships given to 5 KU students bound for Italy

LAWRENCE -- Five University of Kansas business students bound for a study abroad program in Italy this summer have been awarded the Megan E. Taylor Memorial Scholarship.

Each scholarship recipient will attend classes in Italy through the Consortium of Universities for International Studies, which is coordinated by the KU School of Business. Through the Consortium, Undergraduate and graduate students worldwide study business, communications and journalism at campuses in Asolo and Paderno del Grappa, Italy. KU is the degree-granting institution for Consortium.

In 2004, William and Marilyn Taylor of Overland Park, made a gift to the Kansas University Endowment Association to establish the scholarship fund in memory of their daughter. The scholarship is annually awarded to female students studying business who plan to study abroad in Italy.
