KU art and design students to display their best work in campus gallery

LAWRENCE — Sixteen recipients of Foundation Studies Scholarships offered by the art and design departments in the School of Fine Arts at the University of Kansas will display their work Aug. 27 through Sept. 7 in the KU Art and Design Gallery.

Students earn Foundation Studies Scholarships based on academic merit and studio work during their first year in the art and design programs. Recipients were chosen by a faculty committee comprised of Carol Ann Carter, professor of art; So Yeon Park, assistant professor of art; and Jon Swindell and Lois Greene, both professors of design.
