The annual event, called Celebrate KU, is sponsored by the Student Alumni Association.
WHEN: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12
WHERE: Wescoe Beach in front of Wescoe Hall on the Lawrence campus.
WHY: “Important occasions for the university like KU’s birthday often go by completely unnoticed. ‘Celebrate KU’ is an exciting opportunity for students and faculty to recognize the numerous reasons why we love KU,” said Megan Lemon, director of outreach for the Student Alumni Association.
