The 2008-09 Chancellors Club Scholars

LAWRENCE —Future scientists, engineers, doctors, psychologists, attorneys, musicians, business leaders and social workers are among the 16 students who have been named 2008-09 Chancellors Club Scholars at the University of Kansas.

All are National Merit scholars with outstanding high school achievement and leadership records. Eleven graduated from Kansas high schools and five from out-of-state schools. Each has received a renewable scholarship from the Chancellors Club.

The Chancellors Club, a major-donor organization at KU Endowment, has awarded these scholarships to 292 students since the program began in 1979.
