Hawk Week schedule now available online
LAWRENCE — A full schedule of events for Hawk Week -- the official welcome week for new students at the University of Kansas -- is now available at www.hawkweek.ku.edu.
Hawk Week is full of fun, information and programs that highlight the opportunities available to students at KU. Hawk Week events are a great way to meet new friends, learn about University offices and get involved. Each year, more than 10,000 students participate in Hawk Week and learn what they need to succeed at KU. The goal is to ease students’ transition to college life and to start their KU journey off right.
Hawk Week begins Wednesday, Aug. 17 and culminates Saturday, Aug. 27 with the Student Union Activities Carnival from 8 p.m. to midnight.
All events during Hawk Week are free. For more information, contact New Student Orientation at 785-864-4270 or visit www.hawkweek.ku.edu.
The University of Kansas is a major comprehensive research and teaching university. University Relations is the central public relations office for KU's Lawrence campus.
