Chancellor congratulates new president of Emporia State University

LAWRENCE – University of Kansas Chancellor Bernadette Gray-Little issued the following statement on the appointment of Michael Shonrock as president of Emporia State University:

“I want to congratulate Dr. Michael Shonrock on being chosen to lead Emporia State University. As a KU graduate, he is already familiar with higher education in Kansas, and I look forward to working with him to advance our shared goals of enhancing the quality of our Regents institutions and expanding access to college.”

The University of Kansas is a major comprehensive research and teaching university. University Relations is the central public relations office for KU's Lawrence campus.
