KU Libraries to host homecoming brunch Oct. 1
LAWRENCE — University of Kansas Libraries will celebrate Homecoming with the fifth annual KU Libraries Homecoming Brunch. The event will feature a continental breakfast and tours of the Kenneth Spencer Research Library.
Homecoming is Saturday, Oct. 1, at KU. The football team will play Texas Tech University at 11 a.m. at Memorial Stadium. The brunch, which will begin at 9:30 a.m., will be held at Spencer Research Library’s north terrace, overlooking the Campanile and Memorial Stadium.
Dean Lorraine J. Haricombe will host the event, which is free and open to the public. RSVP by Thursday, Sept. 29, to 785-864-8961 or crawkrc@ku.edu.
The Spencer Research Library, KU’s archival, manuscript, rare book and regional history library, is located at 1450 Poplar Drive in the center of KU’s Lawrence campus.
