University mourns death of student Peter 'Skip' Skahan

LAWRENCE – University of Kansas Chancellor Bernadette Gray-Little issued the following statement regarding the death of student Peter "Skip" Allen Skahan.

“On behalf of the entire University of Kansas community, I offer the deepest sympathies on the death of Peter Skahan. Our thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones at this difficult time.”

Skahan, 30, died April 15 at his home in Lawrence. He was a senior majoring in psychology.



The University of Kansas is a major comprehensive research and teaching university. University Relations is the central public relations office for KU's Lawrence campus.
